Walk The Moon Release Demos Album And New Merch To Raise Money For Charity

iHeartRadio ALTer Ego 2018 - Red Carpet

The members of Walk The Moon are all about giving back, and their latest selfless act includes some pretty sweet new(ish) tunes and tees. On Friday (August 14), the band released Can You Imagine? — a compilation of selected demos off their album TALKING IS HARD — and four shirts that declare important messages like "Black Music Matters" and "Change Is Up 2 U." Proceeds from the demos album will benefit iVoted Concerts and money made from the new merch will go to Fair Fight Action.

"Today we’re releasing some new music and some new merch. 'Can You Imagine?' is a selection of demos from our album TALKING IS HARD. Check out what the songs sounded like in our heads before we took them into the studio. Your $$ will go to@ivotedconcerts, an organization which promotes voter turnout with a massive online concert on Election Day," WTM announced on Instagram. "We’ve also co-designed these four tees to get you fired up about positive change <+> Your $$ will go to@fairfightaction, a Georgia-based organization which promotes fair elections around the country, encourages voter participation, and educates voters about elections and their voting rights.⁣"

The band continued its message by marveling at fans' efforts to help raise over $40,000 for Black Visions Collective in June. "Make no mistake - THIS COMMUNITY IS POWERFUL," they declared. "Love you for caring, love you for sharing, love you for blaring our music."

WTM ended their message with an exciting tease: "P.S. WTM4 is coming…"
