Mickey Guyton is highlighting the difference in how she spends her weekends now that she’s a mother — and she “Wouldn’t have it any other way 💕,” she gushed. Guyton shared a video on her social media channels on Monday (May 9), showing “our weekends before we had out baby” as she giggles at a roller skating venue.
Now, “Saturday nights look a little different,” she observed as the video cuts to a sweet clip gf Guyton singing to her son to encourage him to eat his peas. Guyton’s fans and followers dropped comments that they “love everything about this,” including the way her son claps after taking a bite. “Wonderful blessing, indeed. Belated happy Mothers Day to you. 💙,” another wrote. A third said: “It was the Grammy nominated voice that did it! 🤣🤣🤣.”
Guyton and husband Grant Savoy celebrated son Grayson’s first birthday on February 7. The “All American” singer shared a heartfelt message to him on his birthday, writing: “It’s like my life began the day I met you. Happy birthday to my sweet Grayson! Thank you for picking me to be your mom. 🥺”
Guyton recently told People she speaks about motherhood and gets advice from fellow country stars and mothers, Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood. Guyton said she feels she was meant for parenthood: “I've always been a nurturer. And now that I have my son, it is literally all that. It's everything that I could ever want to do. It also helped me realize what matters in life. …It's just truly life-changing.”
