Benham’s Grove will once again host the annual tree lighting during a special ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Brooks Compton will host the ceremony featuring performances from Alexis Gomez, the Centerville Community Band’s Brass Ensemble, the Centerville Community Chorus and the Miami Valley Dance Company. Overflow parking for the tree lighting ceremony will be available at Stingley Elementary School and Activity Center Park.
Free hot chocolate and coffee from Boston Stoker and holiday cookies from Crumbl Cookies will be available at Benham’s Grove prior to the tree lighting ceremony. Plus, the first 140 kids at the tree lighting will be able to get a free Christmas-themed glow wand.
Parking and shuttles to the Uptown Vendor Village will be available at Activity Center Park, 221 N. Main Street.
