RaeLynn teamed up with a Christian artist — who also happens to be her husband, Josh Davis’, best friend, her brother, and her daughter, Daisy Rae’s, godfather — to debut a heartfelt collaboration. The country singer-songwriter and JUDAH released “Somebody Else” on Friday (April 14).

“Why don't we go love somebody else/ Pick somebody up that needs some help/ Yeah, we're all a little off the rails/ We spend enough time loving ourselves, so/ Why don't we go love somebody else”

“SOMEBODY ELSE OUT NOW!” RaeLynn gushed in an Instagram caption on Friday morning. “This is about loving on people and having empathy for each other. My favorite line is ‘ain’t that nobody’s talking we are talking but nobody’s listening’. We felt like the world needed a big hug so HERE YOU GO. 😍🥹💕 [JUDAH] we did it!”

RaeLynn started teasing the song on her social media channels last month, including when she dropped a few hints for fans to try to guess her then-mystery collaboration partner. Some of the clues included that he’s blonde, he’s Davis’ best friend, he’s in a genre other than country and more. Though hundreds of Instagram commenters cast guesses for other artists, some correctly tagged JUDAH in the comments. When she officially revealed JUDAH as her duet partner, RaeLynn’s Instagram followers wrote that they could hardly wait and loved the song already. Listen to “Somebody Else” here:
