Morgan Evans showed that he’s finding joy after heartbreak with the two new tracks he released on Friday morning (April 21), part of his five-track EP, Life Upside Down.

The Australian singer-songwriter’s latest collection also features his previously-released heartache ballad, “Over For You,” including the live rendition in Melbourne. Another song appearing on the project, “On My Own Again,” made its debut earlier this month, offering a hopeful outlook as he moves forward after divorce. Evans rounded out the EP with what could be “the two most joyful sounding records I’ve ever made,” he said of “Hey Little Mama” and “All Right Here.”

  5. Over For You (Live in Melbourne)

“It’s a collection of songs that could only have come from this time in my life,” he wrote in an Instagram caption on Thursday morning (April 20). “After the heaviness of Over For You and On My Own Again, the two new tunes coming this Friday, ‘Hey Little Mama’ and ‘All Right Here’ are, quite possibly, the two most joyful sounding records I’ve ever made. They’re about finding light in the dark and finding gratitude in the little things, which as we all know are actually the big things!”

Evans previously said he titled his EP Life Upside Down because “my life felt exactly that. To me, these 5 tracks journey through unexpected heartbreak, self-rediscovery, new beginnings and a new found gratitude for the present moment.”
