Landscapers are the fittest tradespeople, according to a study of 1,000 trade workers.
The survey looked at several factors including heavy items lifted per day, number of steps walked, healthy meals eaten, and how much they exercise outside of work. Landscapers came out on top with 34 points. They walk more steps per day than any other trade at 12,274 and spend the most time exercising outside of work at 114 minutes per week.
Plumbers came in second with 32 points and were the most likely to consider themselves fit at 80 percent.
Carpenters finished third with 25 points, averaging 10,995 steps and lifting 16 heavy items per day.
