While we all love giving and getting gifts during the holidays, if you were born in December you might feel like you get slighted on gifts and it turns out it's true!
A new study found that people born in December get 160 less gifts in their lifetime compared to everyone else who has a birthday outside of the holidays! Apparently those born in the eleven other months of the year get an average of six birthday gifts, while December babies only get an average of four presents a year.
75% of the December birthdays that participated aid they receive a joint birthday and Christmas gift every year and most of the time their birthday gifts involve something festive instead of something they can rock throughout the year.
You can read more from the study HERE but just be mindful of your friends and family members who were born in December because they need birthday gifts too!! I would also say the same thing goes for people who were born in January. My wife's birthday is January 5th and this has been an "issue" her entire life! It also means double the present-buying every December for me, ha!
